What data we process

The data you give us when you request a transfer on the website or contact us via WhatsApp, Telegram or phone: name, phone number, route, date and time, number of passengers and comments.

Browsing data collected through analytics and advertising cookies, only if you accept them (see the cookie policy).

Purpose and legal basis

Handling your request and providing the transfer: legal basis, steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of the contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Analysing how the site is used and measuring our ads: legal basis, your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention

We keep the data for as long as needed to provide the service and then for the periods required by law.

Address suggestions (Google Maps)

When you start typing in “From” or “To”, the calculator loads the Google Maps autocomplete service (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) and sends it what you type to suggest addresses in Spain. The service is only loaded when you use those fields.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Google processes this data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and may do so outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

Route search statistics

Each time you get a price, we save the search in our own statistics: origin and destination (what you type and, if you pick a Google Maps suggestion, its identifier, name, type and coordinates), the website language, the device type (mobile, tablet or computer), the date and time, and your cookie choice. Without your consent we add nothing that identifies you.

Only if you accept analytics cookies do we also add: a random visitor identifier and a session identifier (kept in your browser's storage), the number of visits and the date of the first one, where the visit came from (utm, gclid and fbclid parameters, landing page and referring page), the Google Analytics client identifier, browser and page details (preferred languages, time zone, platform, touch screen, screen and window size, pixel density, connection type, the page address, how many searches you made on it and how long you have been on it), your IP address and your browser's user agent. If you withdraw your consent, those identifiers are deleted from your browser.

Purpose: to know which routes people search for, so we can improve the service, our prices and our ads. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for the search data without identifiers, and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for the rest. We keep them on our own server for up to 18 months and then delete them.

Visit and speed statistics (Vercel)

Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., gives us visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) and page speed statistics (Vercel Speed Insights). They use no cookies and store nothing in your browser. The statistics are anonymous and aggregated: the page visited (without the address parameters, except the utm_* campaign ones), the referring website, the country, the device type, the operating system, the browser and, for speed, the page load times. They don't identify you or follow your browsing on other websites.

Purpose: to know how many visits the site gets and how fast it loads, so we can improve it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel processes this data as our processor and may do so outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. We rely on providers acting as processors (web hosting, messaging and, with your consent, Google and Microsoft for analytics and advertising). Some may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@ridevalencia.es. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

We use our own cookies and those of Google and Microsoft Clarity to analyse traffic and measure our ads, only if you accept them. Necessary technical cookies are always on. Cookie policy
